Hello Everyone,
It was a major effort to participate in this year’s annual December Nights celebration with half of San Diego (at least it seemed like that many people attended). As usual it was a team event. This included many tasks from buying supplies, making 60 double batches of æbleskiver batter (in advance), making spice bags for gløgg, raking leaves, hanging lights, decorating the Christmas tree, setup, mixing eggs and buttermilk into the batter, cooking, serving, collecting money, and finally shutdown and cleanup.
Our team broke down the Spirits Garden booth and moved everything to the cottage in record time just like a traveling carnival.
The cottage and Spirits Garden each had record sales this year. The Spirits Garden hosted over 9,000 people between Friday and Saturday. We could not have pulled this off without everyone’s help!
